Moments of Weakness

Hey! Yes, I am writing. I'm writing all sorts of things. I've just really really sucked at posting anything! LOL Working on my giant fic list and it is going okay. Also working on my giant Alex/Scott fic which I might someday post all of but I dunno. lol I guess I've been writing because I've been all sorts of emotional as of late. It is a bad thing but a good thing because I'm writing.

Watching all sorts of tv...pretty much still just wanting to write H50 though. Well, along with trying to finish up the old fics for old shows on my giant fic list. Really not at all sure I'll finish anything One tree Hill simply because I wanted to throw things at my tv last week or the week before when I actually sat down and watched an episode for the first time in what, two years? I have new shows I love and there's a giant part of me that is itchin to write something for Hart of Dixie! *beams* Yeah, I love Wade and Zoe. *grins*

Well, I'm off to sleep now. Or I might write a little bit when I get inside. Depends. *waves* Y'all have fun and maybe if I wake up around 3 or 4 like I have been lately I'll get out here and post some things!!!

Hey y'all!

Well, a while back I posted my gigantic list of unfinished fics right? Right. And I have been working on those fics too! Yay! However, I keep starting new ones. Or I keep adding more and more to the unfinished ones making them longer but still unfinished. And then there's tonight. Came out here to write my 750 words and went looking through my songs to find one that might inspire me to write. Found a song and then decided to check the new lyrics file I made for new Hawaii Five-0 fics. Yeah, I know, new ones and I have not added them to my list. *sigh* I suck. So anyway, I find that the song matches one of the lyrics I have in the file. So I start writing. Totally planning on getting my 750 or more and quitting. But I couldn't quit. The men wouldn't shut up. So...I wrote. And finished it! *grins* Yup, wrote a brand new fic tonight...it's about 1500 words and completely untouched so I won't be posting it for another few days. But I had to make a post because it made me rather giddy knowing I started a fic tonight and actually have an ending in the same night!! *beams* Y'all have no idea how RARE that is for me! Cause seriously? Most of my fics I have are probably all close to done...there's just no real ending that I am happy with so I keep them and work on them and add things to them and never, ever finish them. *sigh*

Alrighty, now I have to go to bed because I have to get up early in the morning to get my daughter to the baseball field by 9 AM. Yeah, I know. 9 AM is really early for a Saturday morning huh? Blah.

Whew, I am actually writing tons! Working on unfinished fics, starting a few new ones and I am working on a list of songs so I can do a ficmix! Huh? What's a ficmix you ask? Well, it is fanfics written to fanmixes! Here's the LJ comm. ficmixes Y'all know what a fanmix is right? If not, they are soundtracks you make for a show/couple/character/whatever. Although, I am having a terrible time narrowing down songs as well as the fact that I have no idea how long or short my fics will end up being considering I have troubles writing short fics! LOL Most of the ficmixes in the community are just a few lines for each song. Uhh, mine will be longer than that I'm sure. Oh, I totally forgot to let ya know what my ficmix will be about! Tristan and Rory from Gilmore Girls. Yeah, I know, I did my NaNo novel on them a couple years ago but these other stories are in my head and don't really have anything to do with what I wrote. And if they do, well, my NaNo fic kinda sucked anyway! LOL I dunno, maybe that one didn't suck near as bad as most of my other ones did!

So, whenever I start writing and finishing parts of the fics I might post them in here. Or I'll wait until everything is finished and I'll post them all at once. Of course if I do that it will be a while before anything is posted!

I am however going to start posting every one of my fics in here. I realized the other day I have fics posted a few places and since this is my writing journal, I'll post them all in here to have everything in one place. Might even post my original stuff too! Which means I'll have to make a master list in the beginning of my journal which means y'all might have to help because I dunno how to do that! LOL

This is something I wrote a while back for a fic meme I'd posted in my other journals. I royally suck because I'm still kinda working on dawnieangel's fic because I just have never liked anything at all I've written for her request. But since this is my writing journal I figure I'll go ahead and post the one I wrote as an example. This is written before the new season aired and Eliot was still a little perturbed at Sophie. I don't even know if I like what I've written anymore! LOL Gonna go ahead and post it though or I'll never post it!

And here we go! This is the meme if anyone is interested.

Hope you enjoyed! I'm working on another couple of Leverage fics as well as tons of other fics! There's this one fic I've been working on pretty consistantly the last couple of months that is an A Walk To Remember fic about Landon 15 years later. I can't seem to stop listening to the song Halo by Beyonce *and I'm not really a Beyonce fan* and it inspired me to write it. It also happens to be my first AWTR fic as well which has been giving me troubles because of my love of the book and Nicholas Sparks' beautiful words.

Anyway...I shall keep writing and posting!

Okay, so there's the first three I wrote. In my next post you'll see the three I wrote while sitting at the table beside the indoor pool at my son's last baseball tournament of the season. A very loud indoor pool and then I finished them in the lobby that night. Took about an hour for all three, I haven't looked at them since so I dunno what they might be like. LOL *waves*
